Received a letter via USPS signed by Paul Friedrick, Program Coordinator, United Automotive Services. The letter was correctly addressed to my name and address, and asked me to call 1-833-330-5441 "with VIN and current mileage before November 4", asking me to purchase "mechanical coverage on the vehicle you purchased recently" because "a limited amount of time has been allotted to the expiration of your vehicle's factory warranty coverage." I did recently purchase a car, but I have never heard of United Automotive Services. The letter also included a QR code, which I did not scan.
