Internet website offering mini teacup poodle puppies. Total cost of puppy a delivery to home 650. Puppy selected from website,deposit of 250 sent. Selection of puppy made and balance of400 sent (both by Zelle) Delivery date selected. Received tracking numbers from delivery service and email stating a totally refundable deposit of 1550 for insurance for the puppy to be delivered. Unable to transfer insurance money because recipient was not reinstated with Zelle. Person from puppy website sent a name to use for Zelle payment which was not used and delivery service then requested a gift card or cash. I was advised by my bank to contact the police re incident. Police came to my home, took the information, tried a phone number listed on a text, person answered and said something about a dog. Police then verified it was scam and left a police card reporting the incident
