my sister who is disabled opened a pop-up message while on Facebook and after doing so Fancy worldwide called her land line (internet phoneline) and told her she owed them money to keep her computer secure. She placed the charge on her credit card. I was able to block the card transaction and canceled her credit card due this fraudulent charge. She has Malware detection on her computer which did not stop this scam. I had her shut down her computer including unplugging it and then we restarted and ran a scan check. I also placed a block on the telephone numbers that called her. (412) 668.1832 and (833) 688.0886 . I ran each of these numbers into reverse lookup and both came back as low scam however when I tried calling each number no one answered. The next day, after she logged onto her computer and was greeted with loud warning message instructing her not to shut down her computer due to a virus. She shut down the computer and we ran another scan blocking all pop-ups.
