After confirming that I wanted to adopt the Ragdoll kitten, ROXY, I was instructed to open the Zelle app (which my bank offers) to make a digital payment from my checking account for $750.00. (see image below of ROXY)

Do not try and get a cat from Fantastic Ragdoll Scattery OR Playful Ragdolls Home. They are a scam! They are operated by the same person, look at their websites, they use the same exact language in the shipping info. They will text you pictures of the cat and ask for money it's always $600 for the cat and $150 for shipping. The communication is all done via text and they urge you to complete the purchase and then stop responding to you.

I found this website via a link on Facebook showing available ragdoll kittens. The website at the time look very legitimate. I sent an inquiry via their website asking if the kitten was available that I liked. A couple of hours later they texted me and told me that she was and sent me several photos of the kitten. It then proceeded to tell me what the process was they would ship to my home or I could pick her up at a local airport. They asked me for my name address phone number and my local airport. Their price was half the price that most breeders charge which should have been my clue but I didn’t pay attention. They were charging $600 for a kitten when normally they would’ve been 1200 or more. And then $150 for shipping. They required that I pay them via Zell which I did not have an account on I told them that and ask if they would except PayPal Apple Pay or Venmo and they directed me once again that I had to pay through Zell. My bank doesn’t recognize they also had to download the app and then put in my debit card number. Another big mistake and I should’ve seen the red flag. Zelle limited me to the amount that I could pay. I paid $300 first and then another hundred dollars. I wasn’t able to pay any more given the limitations on the Zell site I told the individual that and they said that I could buy a Walmart gift card for the remaining balance. That was the huge red flag! I did not do that and I told him I was going to contact my bank the next morning. I never heard from them again and I’ve emailed them twice and texted them twice and they are not responding.

I want everybody to know about the scam artist and hopefully people will see this and not let them take it vantage of them.
