The only way to get refund from these guys is to contact your bank (credit card company) and ask them to file a dispute.
Your bank will deal them officially and make sure you get a refund. I got my refund this way!
Don't believe these guys (billing cycles etc is all fake). Just contact your credit card and inform them that you want to file a dispute as Exploretrip/fareScan is not refunding your money.
Don't delay, just file the dispute ASAP!
are still authorized for booking tickets. Don't fall for there cheaper rates because after you book your tickets you are doomed to get scamed by them. There name should be fare SCAM instead of fare scan!
WE TRIED BOOKING A FLIGHT FOR $110.
WE ENTERED OUR CREDIT CARD INFO AND IT TOLD US IT WAS UNABLE TO BOOK AND THAT OUR CARD WASN'T CHARGE.
WE ENEDED UP BOOKING DIRECTLY WITH THE AIRLINE.
THE NEXT DAY WE GET AN EMAIL FROM "FARESCAM" FARESCAN THAT OUR FLIGHT WAS BOOKED FOR $155.
THEY CHARGED US WITHOUT OUR CONSENT FOR MORE THEN QUOTED.
WE WERE DOUBLE BOOKED BECAUSE OF THESE AMATEURS.
IT WAS A HEADACHD GETTING OUR REFUND WHICH IS STILL PROCESSING. AND THEY SAY 7-14 DAYS.
WHAT COMPANY TAKES THAT LONG TO REFUND?!?!?
Heartless. Awful. Complete SCAM! I purchased a ticket through Farescan for a flight with TAP airline. Called the airline, they advised me that they are offering a full refund, but since I purchased my ticket (PNR: R5U8JM) through Farescan, they must contact the airline's helpdesk and the refund will be given immediately. The airline went as far as put a comment on my reservation that the refund must be requested. I sent all the information to Farescan. The company is refusing to issue a refund. TAP advised me that it is illegal and to let them know that I am a US citizen. I sent a copy of my passport and another request. Farescan is taking advantage of people in hard situations due to COVID -19. If I don't get a refund and response, I am going to turn to social media and Better Business Burrow. Shame on them.
Very rude customer service
Anyone who has faced harassment from them , please file a complaint with U.S Department of Transportation , they helped me to resolve the issue with them.
There is a very simple form by them where you fill the details and submit. They got back to me within reasonable time period. Trustpilot is not allowing me to post the direct link here.
