On her website's FAQs, she says that orders take approximately 2-3 weeks to process, and if there is a delay, that the customer would be contacted regarding the delay; this is not true. I previously ordered from her as a regular/returning customer (since April 2016), and have had to wait more than 3 weeks for my order...this has happened to me three times already, and I have not been contacted once regarding the delays. So, it's not just because she ignored her business this time around; it's a regular occurrence for her. In addition, when I tried sending inquiry emails, I also had trouble getting a response from her via email during those times.
This time around, she has had several customers inquiring about their orders -emailing, Facebook messaging, Instagram DM-ing, etc.. She is very difficult to get a hold of, and when she decides to respond, it's with excuses and empty promises -she says she'll ship out orders on a certain day (ex. "I'll be shipping out orders on Monday or Tuesday."), and that customers will receive a shipping notification, but several weeks pass and the same customers have to go through the hassle of trying to get a hold of her again because they have not received any shipping notification or their order. Or, she will say that she lost track of how much material she had, and realized she's running low, so now has to re-order materials, which will push back orders further. Also, she issues shipping notifications sporadically; that is, not everyone will even get one. I did not get a shipping notification and she claims she shipped out my order already...(will be elaborated below)...
On this most recent purchase, I purchased some items from her on January 27, 2017; today is June 7, 2017; yes, almost 5 months have passed and I still have not received my order, yet my payment was processed back in January. Essentially, she has stolen my money! I have sent several inquiry messages regarding my order - I have emailed her 3 times, Facebook messaged her once, and posted a public inquiry on her brands' Facebook page. I finally got a response when I posted the public inquiry on the group Facebook page; she said that she shipped my order "around March". When I asked her to provide the exact date it was shipped, and to provide me a shipping notification for when she supposedly shipped it out, she replied that she doesn't have those exact details on her end. She did offer to re-make my order if I had not received it, so I requested her to re-make my order because I did not receive it (that was on May 12, 2017); I never got a response or confirmation if she was, indeed, going to re-make my order. I have, again (as of June 5, 2017), attempted to get a hold of her, and have yet to receive a response.
It's not that she does not read her emails, messages, etc. When she has responded to customers' inquiries, she acknowledges that she read the messages and "noted" their inquiry, but makes no effort to actually respond to those messages via written response.
Also something to note, her website used to have a 'Reviews' tab where customers could rate/review her product/brand/customer service/etc.. The last time I checked it (yesterday, June 6, 2017), it had 8 5-star (the highest positive rating) reviews (all from BEFORE April 28, 2017), and 8 0 or 1-star reviews (all from April 30, 2017 to June 5, 2017). The 0 or 1-star reviews are from the chunk of time that she decided to ignore her business. However, having checked her website today (June 7, 2017), she has completely taken down the 'Reviews' tab. That says to me that she wants to pretend that there are not a lot of unhappy customers, and also that she doesn't want other buyers or potential buyers to really know how she operates. She is deceiving people and taking their money while they wait several weeks/months for their purchase. Also, if her processing time is longer than 2-3 weeks, she needs to correct her website's FAQs to reflect that. What she is doing is all so dishonest! The low reviews are the consequence of her ignoring not only her business, but also her customers, and yet she wants to deceive people into thinking that she still operates within her "2-3 weeks processing time" and her "If for any reason it takes longer, we will contact you and inform you about the delay." None of this is true. The negative reviews were up there for a reason --she just cannot and does not want to handle the criticism and dissatisfaction of her customers, which are a direct result of her conscious decision to ignore your brand/shop. She has made little to no effort in appeasing customers and/or responding to their inquiries.
Also, as of today, she posted a personal update (i.e. not related to orders or her brand) on the Facebook group page, BUT all public inquiries/posts on the page went unanswered/ignored. She wrote that she is not satisfied with how she let go of her business like that, and yet she makes no effort to remedy anything.
This brand/owner does not care about her customers (though she claims that she does, yet her actions say otherwise). She processes your payment quickly, yet you see no return on your purchase, and cannot communicate with her because she will ignore you.
