Type of a scam Home Improvement
-We researched Jose ***' supposed licence number after he scammed us and discovered that he doesn't have a contractor license.
-The expired licence (with the expiration date: 2/28/1990) belongs to a company by the name of: *** *** (address: *** *** *** *** *** ** ***).
-Jose *** collects money from clients (we know a few more of his clients) and he doesn't fulfill nor perform the labor necessary to complete projects at 100% by the promised dates.
-We paid the full amount for our contracted home improvement project trusting that Jose *** would fulfill his duties as the business owner of FBP Complete Remodel (License #*** as specified on his business card) and the work that he agreed to complete is not yet fully completed by him.
-We waited for more than three months for our home improvement project to be completed.
-We have endured many inconveniences due to the lack of responsibility on Jose ***' behalf.
-We gathered more than enough materials for him to fulfill our home improvement project successfully.
-On one occasion Jose *** accompanied us to Home Depot so that we could purchase the material necessary to complete the job and he had us purchase about $200 worth of unnecessary material. We were fortunate to have been able to return all the unnecessary material.
-Jose *** would ignore calls, messages, and he wouldn't show up to work at our home for many consecutive days and weeks.
-Jose *** took three fluorescent light fixtures from our home without our permission and never returned them.
-We do not trust Jose ***' wrongful business habits and we do not want him to scam more people.
-We demanded some of our money in return with a written "demand for payment letter" and Jose did not pay nor contact us by the due date.
-We are now moving forward by filing a claim with the Fresno, County Small Claims Court.
-We really need more support for justice to be served with this matter.
