Type of a scam Online Purchase
After review of feedback and testimonials I submit a request to inquire about African gray parrot on the website
The owner texted me the available birds for sale and gave me pricing details and medical records for the birds along with full pictures of the breeding grounds
I asked him to send me an invoice and he did send me a full company invoice for one African gray bird with email on company letterhead
Payment only on Apple Pay or zelle or cash app
Made payment and received an email receipt
The I received shipping information of the bird and tracking info on a separate shipping company specifically for animal transport
Name of the company is southwest logistics forwarders
Then I received a second email telling me I need to pay rental fee for special crate to ship the bird or the shipment will not go thru
I reached out to the owner who sold me the bird he told me he will fix it and he is sorry and will need additional money to secure the crate only as a deposit and will be refunded to me when I receive the bird
3 days later still no bird and they keep asking for more money and excuses
The zelle user id I paid for is. [email protected]
His name he told me is James Roma
And his wife is Nikki Roma they are professional breeders
I reported the business to the SOS in Montana and my local police department and turned in all the evidence and contracts
I lost 1400 dollars on this scam
