I received phone calls from people stating they were my student loan provider, FedLoan, and offering to enroll me in payment reduction program. They asked for my email and DOB. They then asked me to give them the code they sent in email to verify my identity. The email was for a change of password. I told them this, and asked why they need my login password. They said it's standard procedure and the only way to access my account. I called FedLoan afterwards and they stated they would never ask for my password. This was not them. I'm not able to upload the picture of the email, but it was email from [email protected] with a code for password reset.
