A voicemail was left stating that they were calling regarding past due taxes, along with the the Federal Economic Recovery program. They said to give them a call prior to trying to file my taxes or pay my past due taxes. I did not answer the call and did not suffer any losses.

Left on my voicemail: “9 8 5- 0 6 7 1. This call was to let you know that all past due tax debt has been placed in a noncollectible status meaning you will not have to pay back your past due taxes. This is part of that new federal economic recovery program. You probably heard about on the news so before you file or start making arrangements to pay your tax debt, give us a call again. My number is 1- 8 00- 9 8 5- 0 6 7 1. Thanks for your time and talk to you soon…”
