- Corrales, NM, USA

Received phone call on cell phone, not home land line, claiming I won a sweepstakes raffle from the Federal Gaming Commission that was awarded from past lottery purchases and that the state, New Mexico, in which I live was eligible for some reason or another to grant these raffle winnings. He, the caller, knew my name and address. Asked for my email which I did not give, nor did he ask for money or any other personal information during the brief times I allowed myself to talk to him. He called 8 times to get me answer and talk. He said that he was surprised that I had not been officially made aware of my winnings, $2.4 million, and that he was calling to let me know and correct the oversight. He texted pictures/documents to show that I was a legitimate winner.

I told him he was a scammer. Said he was from the Federal Gaming Commission and I needed to claim prize valued in the Millions of $$$.
