Consumer reached out to the ScamPulse.com via public line and wanted to report a person claiming to be her friend on Facebook/Instagram who had mentioned to her about getting a $90,000 free grant and that she would have to contact this certain individual. She was told that it would only cost her $500 to process her application and that the person (Ben Walker) claiming to be from the Federal Government and the HCAB Foundation wanted her to go down to Walgreens and get a $500 American Express prepaid gift card to pay for it. The consumer did not want to do that and only wanted to use her credit card. Consumer called ScamPulse.com and was informed that this was indeed a scam and to stop contact with the individual "Ben Walker".
