Was called in regards to a federal grant I have been awarded, evidently I'm a good citizen. They said the grant was $9200, and I gave him my bancorp account and routing number, but I had to pay a $250 fee to WA state to collect it. Was given a number to call and when I talked to that person, he advised me even if it's direct deposited. I have to pay the fees either way, but he said I only had to pay $200. The phone number is 1-206-400-7046, was told ext 185 Mark Williams. Money code # LA1024. Both people I talked to sounded the same, thick accent. Indian or something.

I receive a call from a lady saying I've been selected for a federal grant. Her number came up as several 0's. She didn't ask for a lot of personal information and offered the option to receive it western union so I didn't give any credit card or bank info. She gave me a grant confirmation number then the account manager number and to call him to release the funds. It just rings and rings. She calls again and asks if how did it go. So I talked to account manager and she says my state isn't a tax something state. I'll have to go to western union or money gram and register and it'll cost $280. Any time you're asked to pay money to receive money is a scam
