I was contacted by a friend asking me if I already heard anything of the HCFS grand.
When I told him I didn’t he send me a contact link. I totally believed my friend and went almost all the way. They want you to pay them with gift cards but keep asking more. For some reason my credit card didn’t work on 3 different websites and was for me a signal to stop this.
I started researching my friends account and came to the conclusion it was a cloned account, boy have I have been a fool to believe this to good to be true grant.
The name of the agent is Barry Scott or Barry R Smith.

The Sam scammers hacked my brother's Facebook and messenger and said same thing to me and argued with me that I don't rust my own brother well my brother was home here with me WTF!? IM DELETING FB AND INSTAGRAM ! I REPORTED THEM BUT THEY JUST USE THE NEXT PERSON OR MAKE IT SO I CANT REPORT THEM . I. POOR SO GOOD LUCK GEETTING ANY MONEY FROM ME AND MY CRWDIT IS TERRIBLE! LMFAO LOSERS!

I have Jody who I failed to screenshot the profile before I was able to screenshot. I have the message and called out the scam and was immediately blocked.

My cousin who reside in MN Messenger and FB accounts were hijack along with her profile information and all of her family pictures posted by the SCAMMERS who used her information to message me via Messenger using her profile information. They asked me if I knew of the government grant funding available from $10,000 to $750,000. I in turn request to receive the information.

They then using fraudulent government seals and pictures respond via Messenger to my request for information confirming their fraudulent grant program and sent asked several questions and informed that I was eligible to receive $13,000. I then received another message from someone else in their criminal net work advising that I was eligible to receive $20,000. The requirement went from a $150 mailing fee to $200 due to increase in grant amount along with the instructions not to have any further contact with the initial person contacted. A fraudulent picture of my cousin holding her $13,900 check written out to her with her city, state and zip code was used to further substantiate their fraudulent claim.

After asking several key questions concerning our relatives of which they evaded, I knew it was not my cousin, and reported them to messenger. I also received notice from them detailing out text messages to my email account. I have know way of even knowing how they obtained my email address. Now, I will have to change my email address and pass code after reporting them and blocking them permanently from my account.

This is a nation SCAM going on throughout America and maybe even aboard due to the government stimulus and employment monies provided to Americans citizens who qualify for governmental assistance. Please do not fall for this or any SCAM like it, and report any and all fraudulent activities to the proper authorities and social media administrations.

I just got a message through Instagram from a friend I have on Facebook asking me how I was and then going on to ask if I had ever heard of this Federal Home Care and family support grant. I said no and they responded surprised that I hadn't saying they had got $50,000 that they would not have to pay back. I looked it up and found this site - thank goodness.

This scammer is messaging people on Instagram to try to get them signed up for a “government grant” that will give you $30,000 for free. He’s calling it the federal home care and family support grant and is trying to send a personal Facebook profile to me via Instagram to start the scam.

In messenger the scammer took over my friends account and impersonated her, trying to get me to be interested in applying for a “grant“ for free money. I thought I was talking with my friend. When I texted the number they gave me more information even asking the next day why I had not applied for the grant. The poor language used made me question if it was my friend or not. In addition the way I was continued to be bothered about not having applied made me leery.

Contacted via FB Messenger by a former colleague whom I trust. I contacted the number they provided & within minutes I qualified to receive a grant from the Federal Home Care and Family Support Program for $100,000 as long as I paid $1000 for processing fee.

They instructed me to go to WalMart to purchase $100 gift cards to total $1000 & send them the receipt & gift card code. I was only able to purchase one $100 google play card & sent them a picture of receipt & scratched gift card until my card stopped working. I told the contact & they instructed me to take $900 out of my bank and mail them the money via USPS. I told them I did not feel comfortable doing this.

This person then told me to calm down and tried to reassure me that this is a legitimate program and that i would receive my $100,000 in cash in 6 hours via FedEx once i send them $900. I did not comply & indicated to them that i would like my $100 back, but they did not want to reimburse me.

I contacted my previous colleague to certify that what they sent me was truly from them, and she said no. It was at this point when the scammer called my phone number & told me to calm down & tried to reassure me (again) that I would receive the $100,000 once i gave them the remaining $900. Again, i told them that i did not have trust in this fake program. the contact asked me why i kept calling the program fake and asked me why i was blocking myself from this blessing. I responded: “Taking advantage of American people given the current economic state is not an honorable act & you are misrepresenting a federal employee. You should feel ashamed as the job you have been gaslighted into is a representation of your character. Your "program" has scammed me out of $100. You will NOT be receiving anything else from me. I will be sure to pass this message along & inform my social network contacts of your scheme & protected them from your devious actions & intentions. Please do not contact me again.”

I received a message on messenger from a good friend of mine saying that a close friend of hers had told her about this so called grant. I replied by telling her that i would like some information and she sent me a phone number (773)765-5685. and all I had to do was text that number and to follow the instructions. So I did, I texted the number and immediately received a message back from a man saying. (My name is Agent Maxwell McCumber from the Federal Government Care and Family Support Grant) Saying that i would need to fill in some information and he could proceed. But before I realized it was a scam I had already sent a copy of my Drivers License and all my personal information. I was so excited of how quickly I was approved to receive such grant. At the same time my (whom I thought was my friend) kept texting back and forth i kept asking questions and she kept saying just do what they are asking and you'll get your money tomorrow, you can thank me later.

I had been told through messenger that I thought was my aunts not sure now about this. So I was stupid enough to try and I did the first initial gift cards of 5 hundred dollars after their approval they are now wanting $2.500 for the security of the grant I did question my aunt and them about the grant. and how legit it is and of course both saying it is. But I can not find a website by what they are saying the program is it is suppose to be called ( NEW FEDERAL HOME CARE AND FAMILY GRANT SUPPORT PROGRAM) and of course that sounded wonderful to get repairs done on my home. the wife was contacted by a facebook friend (somebody pretending to be the friend) that gave her a phone number of a person to text and this person got him $60,000 grant money. All we had to do was give our name, birthdate, mothers maiden name,phone number and we could be approved for the grant. once approved they tried to get us to pay a fee to get the grant.

We did not pay a fee we are just reporting the scam.

My sister (not my sister) sent me a request for friends on face book. I accepted. (she is out of town and I am watching her dogs) so I thought maybe that was how they were checking on their animals, they asked how it was going, I responded that their dogs were doing good... They responded as my sister saying had I heard the good news. I responded No, They responded that she had received a check for $60,000.00 through a Grant that was tax free and not having to be repayed. She asked if I wanted the number to text for the application. I said sure. Thinking that it was a scam I asked her if she had received it and that if it had cleared the bank . She said yes. I looked at the ScamPulse.com nothing there. I dialed the number and they sent me applications trying to get my information, I did not respond they returned"are You there" I responded with a question as to what they wanted for one of the questions. They responded and said they were waiting for my form to be filled out and process it for the money that I would receive. I called my sister and they had no idea what I was talking about. I unfriended my sister and that is when I called the Idaho BBB.
