Person referring to himself as John Kimble called from a Spam number, referred to himself as a federal marshal. He stated that he was calling about me having missed a "process selection hearing", that I had been summoned as a prospective juror for a federal grand jury, and that I had failed to appear. He reported that I had received a summons on 8/12/24 and that if I did not appear at 141 Church Street in New Haven CT today, that he would dispatch a special unit to come to my place of work to bring me in. He further stated that they would take me to the New Haven County Jail to be processed, and that I would have to post bond. He asked me if I lived at *** **** **** *** I deferred answering that and told him it was fine for him to send a unit with documentation. I then called back the number, he answered again and we discussed it some further. I again told him to send paperwork - he offered to send it to my email, which I declined to give. I told him to send the unit. I then received a text message with a supposed warrant for my arrest, with a typo for my name and the threat of a charge of obstruction of justice for "none compliance".
