Received a call from a local area code and answered it, they claimed to be the social security office and so as that my identity had been stolen when someone used my info to rent a car and the car had been abandoned and found with blood in it. The home address connected to the abandoned car had been raised and drugs were found. They asked me to confirm my SSN, home address, credit spending limit, and to go to Kroger to pick up a “government document” to take the to SS office when I go apply for a new SSN.
