My grandfather was called from 208-202-3816 by someone named "Ron" from FedEx and asked if he knew anyone with the last name of Smith because there was a package for them, but it was missing the address. Luckily grandpa called me to check if this is a valid call from FedEx. I called 208-202-3816 and the phone rang for a bit then went to a voicemail for Verizon.

I received a call from FedEx saying I won a sweepstakes but I had to pay $100 using an Apple gift card to claim it. They told me I won a safe with bundles of money.

- Painesville, OH, USA

I received a call from someone claiming to be FedEx, they said they had a delivery for me but they needed me to verify my information. I was not expecting anything to be delivered so I did not give them any of my information and hung up.

- Kenai, AK, USA

Email that said they were FedEx. Have a tracking number. I did not reply. I went to the official website and put in the tracking number and was informed the tracking number did not exist. I did not respond to the email.

I trusted this lady on social media to do the right thing and she didn’t. I entrusted her with almost $6000 In gift cards and cash to be used for an investment in Bitcoin, which was a bust for me and a gold mine for here. Apparently she made up a fake Fedex email, using Fed Ex’s logo and I was sending on average $600 a week to her, with an promise of getting $10’s to $100’s ofthousands in the end. And it took me several months, to finally question it. I went to a Fed Ex office in my town and showed them the “Fed Ex” emails and the lady there told me it was fake😭. She told me to file a police report, but I don’t think it will any good. I deleted the emails

Number calls repeatedly trying to scam my disabled parents by Trying to take money for unkown packages to be delivered. Scammer states there is a package that needs to be delivered and needs finial payment in oreder for packages to arrive. This time states that fed ex will deliver packages. No info or personal info was given. Scammer sounds to have foreign language.

The email states that a package is unable to be delivered until I click the link and fill in my mailing address - otherwise my package will be returned without refund.

- Tacoma, WA, USA

Claimed to be from Fed Ex - said I had a suspended package to be delivered and requested personal information - I trashed it - email was from “fed’ ex”

I received two separate calls in succession about a package being delivered to my home addressed to my wife. The first caller said his name was John and I was suspect of him and told him so. I asked him where tge call cener was licated, and i was to Colorado. While on the phone with John I received another call, this time from Freddie about two packages. I told him that I didn't believe he was from FedEx and told him I would call the number back to find out. I was greeted with "Welcome to FedEx call center...". I went through a lengthy process of him searching for my address on Google Maps. He then assured me that my package would be delivered on the next business day.The call was received at 6:30pm EST on a Friday. Am I crazy to think that FedEx is hiring people who sound like scammers from India? Is this a legit call? What is the deal here? I can't find a definitive answer to the question.

A random number will call with your information, state they are from FedEx and that they have attempted to drop off paperwork. They will “schedule” for a time to drop it off. But no paper has been left at my residence yet they had my residence address.

Called saying my package was being held and would be returned to sender if I didn’t email. They knew the tracking number. Asked for invoice and contents of package.

My husband and I have received multiple calls from 833-372-5815 and 814-844-6716 saying they are fedex and my claim number is 6024613 that they are trying to deliver a package to me but need the name of the company, location, land marks to identify my home. When I originally called it was a foreign representative who had me holding for long periods of time as he attempted to locate my claim, I hung up. After that initial call I am receiving excessive calls from the second number and they are asking for personal information. I did contact the real fed ex and had them look this up and there was no package trying to be delivered.

- Terryville, CT, USA

Received a text message stating that FedEx was changing a scheduled delivery time for a fake order number. Then provides a link to click to confirm the change.

I had just ordered something being shipped via FedEx so I clicked the link and when I opened the link it brought me to a page stating there was a Best Buy prize being offered for every 10 customers. I immediately clicked out of the website.
