Craigslist sales

I listed a used trailer for sale on a local Craigslist site. I received an email from Fernando Guzman wanting to purchase the item. He would pay an extra $60 for me to hold the item until someone came by to pick it up. He had health problems and would have his son send a cashier's check along with extra money to pay someone to pick up the item. Email conversations between us went for about a week, before he emailed tracking info on the mailed check. He stated that he would pay ad additional $50 because he needed me to pay someone who was going to pick up the item for him. Payment for the other person would be included in my check. On the day the check was scheduled to arrive I received 2 checks in the mail from a Veco Shopping LLC one check was for $2600 and the second for $2650. Checks came from Dallas Texas. The trailer was listed for $500. I live in Alaska, no one from Texas is going to buy a used trailer from someone in Alaska. The whole transaction didn't feel right from the start.
