If I took a Lowe’s survey, I could win a 6-piece Makita tool set for free. After the survey, I was informed I had “won;” I was told I only had to pay for shipping of approximately $8.89. This involved giving up my debit card info to Lowe’s, which I was okay with. But then I got suspicious when I immediately received notice that my “package had been shipped.” I checked my bank account, and saw an additional amount was also spent for “Absolute Heat Sporting” for about $50 (not initiated by me). I then immediately called my bank and cancelled my card and alerted their fraud dept about those two amounts.
