I was sent a text that I can do a wrap on my car for Fiji waters and I can get paid 500 a week so I went to the website and it looked legit I entered my information and the next day I had the guy that has been harassing me since Wednesday that if I deposit the check they will send a wrap guy out to my house. I went against my better judgment and I deposited it and the bank put it on hold (2,000) and available funds were for 500 but then the guy told me to cash app him the 500 but it would not let me add the funds to cash app so I did not know what to do on Friday I called my bank usaa and they said to mail back the check to the address that sent me the check and to don’t touch the funds in the bank so they will dispute the charges on the check and to remove my name off the back. Now the guy is telling me he wants me to keep 200 to myself for the trouble and to wire him the rest of the funds. This has been sounding very scary and he said he will also send the feds to arrest me.
