Type of a scam Online Purchase
There was pop up ad from COSTCO PHARMACY that they asked 4 questions and if I qualified they'll send a free sample. I don't have to pay anything but for the shipping. They ask for the credit card number, address and phone number. I applied for the trial because it's from Costco that I trusted.
There was nothing to blank for the credit card number follow the pop up ad.
Next day they charges for shipping and handling but for two items.($5.33 more)
I thought something strange but forgot. Few days later I received 2 free trials.
Final Skin Care anti- wrinkle cream and Skin Flow anti-aging Serum.
Actually I didn’t applied for second one but ordered automatically online, when asked about that they said that is system.
But 2 weeks later they charged $202.09 and 192.67 from my credit card.
I phone called to credit card Company for letting them know the misuse of my credit card but they tell me the number of the merchant for cancel the order and refund.
The Merchant strongly doesn't want to refund to me because that already after the 14days of I can cancel them.
They were like a broken record and emphasized 14days of cancellation.
They said that I should know the terms and conditions before I paid with credit card but I couldn't see terms and conditions when I paid because there was nothing but the blank for credit card number.
After all the things happened I could see terms and conditions at their web site not on the pop up ad.
After I phone called with the merchant I realized I was deceived.
I couldn’t find any information about my order in their web page, I can see ‘order now’ or ‘apply for free trial’ only.
More over those were never from Costco pharmacy!!!
They illegally use of COSTCO's NAME because most of people trust them.
If I knew that were not from COSTCO I never applied for free trial.
So, I really want to get my money back from that kind of scam and eager to ask for the inspection of ingredient of their skin care product. Their doubtful behavior made me feel distrust more.
If they have any proud or confidence of their product, they never refused return it in every case of customer.
(I have photos of pop up ad as well.
I wrote down the review at that page, it was disappeared when I was bact to review page.)
