We have also been taken advantage of by Financial Freedom. They have ruined our credit and we too have judgements that we are dealing with. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on how to move forward? We're pretty terrified now of what could happen...

American Freedom Agency-Debt Consolidation Scam-Scam-Scam

My elderly mother in law received a call from this co January 2022 right after coming home from heart surgery on pain meds. She had a perfect credit score and every account she had since 2010 have been in good standing with no missed or late payments. She also had the ability to continue paying them on time, however just losing her job it appealed to her 1 monthly payment to get debt paid off quickly.

American Freedom told her they could consolidate her credit card & personal loan debt with her making 1 monthly payment and they could get her balances paid off quicker. Since she lost her job due to inability to work anymore because of heart issues having zero balances no monthly payments and the ability to use these resouces as & when needed seemed like just what she needed.

They told her that her credit score would initially go down but at the end of the "6 month consolidation process" her credit score would be above her current 800 due to the balances paid off.

American Freedom told her not to make any more payments to these accounts or speak to anyone from these companies unless they used a "password" that American had set up for her. They further told her any mail correspondence from her creditors to discard that this information would not reflect the "work they were doing".

This 6 month process to date has been over 1 yr and still not been completed, with them stating "we are waiting on 1 more document to finalize you and your credit score will go back up.

My mother in law is living on a fixed social security income without the ability to work to supplement and now has 14K in credit card debt up from 6k because they maxed out all of her cards without her knowledge or consent.

They also told her to use the remaining credit she had on her cards to balance out their fee?

They requested credit increases over the computer so they didnt have to get her consent or prove identity.

Im assuming they never had any intention of ever communicating with her creditors or doing the job they said they would since they had her sign no authorization to speak with them on her behalf.

All of these accounts have now been "charged off", she is being sued through the local county courts and garnishment judgements being levied against her.

Her once perfect credit score before enrolling with them of 800 with no late pays for 20 yrs is now at a 400.

This company never contacted any of her creditors, made any payments on her accounts or sent her any documentation that she has been requesting.

She is now losing her only vehicle because the lease is up and nobody reputable will finance her because of these 5 accounts that havent been paid on for 1 yr, charged off as well as judgements (that stay on your credit 10 yrs).

The only financing she can get is at 24% interest which she cannot afford.

They preyed on a 75 yr old woman with heart failure and fixed income and ruined her credit, finances and life. She has no transportation to get back & forth to doctors visits or get groceries.

Unless you want your entire finances and credit ruined and exploded HANG UP ON THESE PEOPLE.

We are in Ohio and I dont believe we have any recourse against them. But I will try by contacting local Ohio news, Orlando Florida news, FBI financial crimes division, the attorney general and anyone else I can.

If you have been victimized by this company please leave a reply I would like to coordinate with you to stop this company from ruining others lives. The more people that can be put on the complaint the more action every agency will take.

Terrible Management and they lie!

Signed up, but the process took way longer then they said! And my credit score went in the gutter! Now when I call their VM is always full! They said it would go back up. But it hasn’t! I have called every number I can find and all VM are full.
Hang up on them when and if they call you and tell them what the other lady said DESTROY MY RECORD!

I just received a phone from this agency stating the banks and credit companies are backed up. Their fees maxed out my credit card. This has been going on since Aug 25 2021. They didn’t deny they don’t have a license and complaints on the BBB website which they are not registered. She said I was free to believe what I learned and do what I feel I should. I want my money back and then put my credit back to the good standing it was before I trusted them. Someone needs to help me and their page needs to be removed from Facebook.

The same thing happened to my elderly mother in law, American scammed her when she had a perfect credit score and no late pays. They never contacted any of her creditors, paid any of her creditors, got a credit limit increase on her cards and maxed them out. They said 6 mo consolidation it has been a year. Every credit card and loan she "enrolled" with is now charged off, she is being sued by the courts for judgement and garnishment and lost her only vehicle over it. they doubled her debt, ruined her credit.
I am trying to find as many people as possible to contact the fbi financial crimes division as well as the attorney generals in each state the victims reside in. This is a horrendous thing that is ruining good people's lives.
would you be willing to share your contact info with me. Id like to bring these so called "untouchable" people to justice. They work off of knowing that people are in no position once they get done with them to fight back.

This Company Wanted To Charge To My Capital One Card A Total Of $6000.00 For Attorney Fees And To Make Minimum Payments To Capital One For March, April and May Of 2022 And All My Credit Card Debt Would Be Completely Eliminated By Their Debt Debt Consolidation Elimination Process..

I Contacted My Attorney's And I Was Informed To Write This Information Down And That Financial Freedom Agency "Destroy All My Personal Information And My Personal Data Profile History Obtained Onto Their Recorded Statement, Be Completely Destroyed This Date February 22nd, 2022".

I, Hereby State This Company In Question "Financial Freedom Agency" Contacted Me On February 21st, 2022 Obtaining My Personal Data Profile History And All My Personal Information History.

On This Date Date February 22nd, 2022. As Per My Corporate Attorney's This Personal Information Is To Be Completely Destroyed Immediately This Date February 22nd, 2022. Sincerely, Attempted Scam Of My Peronal Data Profile.

Im assuming that you didnt fall for their scam?

They preyed on my elderly mother in law ruined her credit, maxed out her credit cards, never made a pymt or talked to her creditors and put her in financial ruins even costing her her only vehicle.
