Anyway, I clicked on the "unsubscribe" link in the original email and that's then when the flood of emails actually started. I now have a filter in my gmail sending all of their emails directly to trash. I receive about ten a day.

I am answering "No" to "Did the scammer attempt to take money? *" because I never actually let them contact me, or me them. I highly suspect they would require "fees" if I actually did contact them.
