Bought a 95p sewing machine manual 3/12/22 looked at my bank statement today 19/8/23 and they have taken £36.95p from my account. why ?
i haven't signed up for anything and my only dealing with them was for the one manual in December

After having read other peoples experiences i am now concerned that they will take more from my account

You enter your details on the inquiry age, tick the T&C box and pay your 95p. No guarantee you get any manual at all. What IS guaranteed is that 14 days later they start taking £36 out of your bank for a 'subscription' you didn't know existed! Complain and they tell you you signed up to this when you ticked the T&C box. Threaten legal action and you might get your money back. I only got half! RIP OFF !

I was trying to find a car manual. Which was very easy on their website and after paying a 0.95p download fee successfully downloaded the manual I required. However 7 days later the company took £36.95 from my bank account and apparently committed me to a bi-monthly subscription of £36.95 which was not made clear on the website.
DON'T be SCAMMED like I was! Avoid these crooks.

The website said it found the manual I requested. It charged me $0.95 and I never received the manual. While I was waiting to get my manual, it charged me $59.90 as a bi-monthly subscription charge

Luckily my credit card company flagged the charge and I was able to deny the charge, and my credit card company reimbursed me the $0.95
