According to their website, "Fireside allows creators to chat with fans via interactive livestream." On 12/31/24, I paid $130.44 for a one year subscription to fireside chat in order to be able to participate in live sessions in the Dr Ramani Network. I was not able to see the schedule of live sessions until after I paid for the membership.
After paying, I reviewed all of the sessions over the next few months, but all of them occur during my work hours when I am unavailable. Their policy on refunds says "Payments made by you hereunder are final and non-refundable, unless otherwise determined by Fireside." This implies they have the capacity to issue refunds on a case-by-case basis.
On January 3rd, I emailed them with the above explanation, requesting a refund.
They replied saying no refunds allowed. They then stated that I can view the sessions on-demand. This was not mentioned on the website, and I would not have paid for the subscription for that. They are falsely advertizing their product and refuse to refund the money. I apparently have to accept the loss, but I do not want anyone else to get suckered in like I was. Had they advertized that there is no guarantee that a consumer will be able to attend the sessions live, I would not have paid for the subscription.
