This is a report about the shipping company that New Life Mini Doxies used to ship a puppy I paid them for. I received an email from shipper that I needed to pay $1,200 (refundable) for a 'special crate and vaccine'. Questioning this I contacted the seller and was assured that she had used this company many time and had no problem with clients receiving their money back. So I paid using Zelle. However, due to the time frame I was now being charged $500 for a puppy hotel. Again, I paid. Received text message that puppy was on her way to Iowa City IA. Later I received an email stating that in order to fly puppy onto Portland, OR I needed to pay $2,000 (refundable) for pet insurance email contained image of the CDC with the cost. Again reached out to the seller and again was assured that the funds would be refunded. Between Zelle and gift cards I paid. They didn't reply until much later which then required her to be at their puppy hotel (2220 California Ave Iowa City, IA) which was another $500. I contacted the seller and she said she could send $200 and then I could return it to her once I received the refund. I paid the $300. After sending I didn't hear anything for hours. Once I finally did I was told that they would have to change the ticket for a different flight and there would be yet another overnight charge. At this point I had enough and told them I would not be sending anymore money. They tried to pull even more at my heart strings telling me that she would be sent to quarantine and listed as abandoned. I was getting sick about how much I had sent and just couldn't continue sending more. I have all the emails and text messages. The attached image is from their website.
