I was having problems with my computer and these people called saying they were tech support with MicroSoft. The guy said he could help me and offered me several different plans to help me with my computer whenever I needed it. I wrote a check for $270 that I scanned in and sent to the guy on the phone. He walked me through what to do on my computer and he gained access and was maneuvering everything from his location. Later on I got suspicious and looked up the number and it said it was a scam. So first thing this morning, I called my bank and placed a stop payment on that check.
