I was looking for a small personal loan with a decent interest rate. I know I'm going to pay more than the amount borrowed. First Loan contacted me immediately. I told them I needed to review the contract/agreement. I saw a loan for $1,225 would end up costing me more than $8,000 over a year of payments. I discontinued any talks with them. They called my phone roughly 40 times a day. At least 20 emails with the same agreement attached. When I answered the phone and told them I did not want their services, they asked why. That's none of their business. Then i asked them to cancel and request or destroy any paperwork they may have with my information. They said they could not cancel the loan with first getting all my personal information. First off, they have it already if they submitted a loan agreement to the underwriter. Secondly, I don't know why they would need my personal address or work phone number. Neither of those have anything to do with applying for a loan. They would not close out my account or cancel the request because I would not give them anymore information. The fact that they would not cancel the request shows just how cutthroat the company is. They prey on individuals who are experiencing tough financial times.

This morning I found out that they were trying to deposit the money into my bank account. I never signed anything nor gave them permission to do so. Thankfully my bank caught it and stopped it. I called First Loan customer support and they said their database shows the request canceled. B.S. I said the bank just notified me of their attempt to deposit money into my account. They said that's impossible because they don't deposit money on the weekends. So I asked if they thought my bank was lying to me and they said yes. Then she tried to tell me because I viewed the document in my email, that gave them permission to deposit funds. I said f* know it doesn't. There was never an agreement made. If the funds are deposited into a bank account, that means that individual will now be responsible for repaying the loan and if you try to immediately reverse it, there will be interest on the amount deposited or a completely different amount to settle the account.

They harassed me for well over 2 weeks. I blocked their number. They would just call me back with another number. They have obviously contracted out their customer service as no one in that place speaks very good english. They just keep repeating the stupid script they have in front of them. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They are scammers and will stop at nothing to get you to sign up to one of their loans.

I was trying to help build my credit to get into my first apartment due to being pregnant and due with my first child at the end of December I will I was qualified for $550 loan. While on the phone I was told it was gonna be a 75% APR rate which I thought was pretty high but due to me being so young and not having the best credit due to young age I figured that was the price and I agreed after the money had hit my account I got a pay statement and it said the APR rate was not 75% but it was 775.3% I tried to call them and wanted to give the loan back didn’t want to go forward with it because getting $163 taken out every two weeks while being a single parent of a newborn and having other responsibilities is a lot they declined and said I would have to pay the 3000 and something dollars finance charge. I just want everyone to be aware that their APR is way higher than what they say and they don’t send you any information or let you access it until after the money had already hit your account.

This place has been harassing me everyday. They call 10, 12 and 15 times a day. They have personal information of mine, stating I applied for a loan. I did not and don't even know who they are. I asked them to stop and they still keep calling, now they are leaving threatening voicemails stating I need to call immediately to finish my loan off.

They keep calling and he wanted more info on me and he said poor connection and I heard other people talking in the background ..its a scam and he didn't speak English that good sounded like he was indian from a different country

I was told I’d be receiving a loan of $350 without a needed background check for credit. They have access to my bank routing and account number, and claim that I owe them over 700% interest on a loan I was told I could pay off in full in 4 installments. I was offered a 25% “discount” off of $336 I was claimed to owe this Friday (Oct 11, 2019), when the “supervisor” said I presently owe $310 - which is not 25% off of the final requested installment. They refuse to disclose a location, use fake names, and are all Middle Eastern - they claim on their website to be a Native American company that is located within a tribe somewhere, but that’s all the information they provide. I’ve already come close to returning the promised $350 I received as a loan, but they continually change the amount I owe, and are extremely suspicious. They are also incredibly rude and not knowledgeable in the slightest about my personal loan, and get very easily angered when I ask them about exactly how much I owe and why. They kept telling me “the principal amount is what you owe”, and nothing else after I asked where the 700%+ interest was coming from regarding my payment. They gave no valid legal reasons.
