Upon confirming their site was safe, I visited it but read that they wanted payment for the award which was an immediate red flag. They had you click on to claim, which I didn't do, so I'm not sure the amount they were asking for but they absolutely were going to take money for a vanity award. With a quick internet search for any other winners of the "Fishers Award Program" I found other local companies have already taken the bait but there weren't many of them and the domain is under 6 months old so it became extremely suspicious, and with a bit more digging into their "businesshonorlocal" component of their URL I was able to locate news articles regarding the ScamPulse.com's warning of vanity awards.
