On May 20, 2017, I contacted Flawless Golden Doodles regarding a miniature golden doodle by searching a site online. The site stated that a female puppy could be purchased for $550.00 which included shots, etc. Throught an email, they asked me a number of questions i.e., was I a breeder, did my family know the puppy was coming, did I have vet. I told them that I was interested in purchasing a puppy and also asked for information on another pup that was also available. They proceeded to send pictures of another puppy to me. Both pups were supposedly AKC registered and had received their shots and had been by a vet. The part that made me leery was that they said I could pick up the puppy and that they were located in Youngstown; however, they were still trying to tell me that they could ship the puppy. I told them that my girls were not with me at this time and that I wanted my girls to pick between the two. I also stated I would not be able to pick up the puppy until the 26th of May. I asked if I paid the $550.00, would they meet me about half way so the trip would only be about five hours instead of seven. They said no problem. I was to contact them tomorrow. They again stated no problem and but I would need to make the payment to hold the puppy. I then asked the full payment and they confirmed, yes, $550.00. At that time I decided to check into the company first.
