I was called by a person who put forth her information in such a way as to lead one to believe she was from the Department of Education. She had all of my personal information. She connected me with another individual who wanted to help me with a better student loan forgiveness plan, but I had to give them my credit/debit card information. I asked them to call back at a later time and looked them up online. I declined their services (they got very huffy) and reported them to the Fedloan people. They encouraged me to file a formal complaint with the BBB. Thanks BBB!
