Type of a scam Employment
I had been looking for work on a page called "Jobs In Melbourne" on Facebook.
So, i thought it was legit. She gave me a link to a "WhatsApp" page using the "Flex Jobs" logo. After a brief conversation about what work i was looking for they sent me a message with very attractive wage offers. Asked me if i was happy with the sound of that? I replied 'Yes'.
Then they sent me a message asking me to send them some personal information - name, address, phone number & My MYGOV - USERNAME & PASSWORD. followed by a message explaining that they require my mygov details so they can verify that i am who i say i am & that I'm suppling then with my real tax file no ??? I replied saying that the ATO would let them know if my details did not match when they lodge my Tax File Number Declaration Form. They replied again saying
