This was before Hurricane Michael hit. Mr Steve Rhea showed up saying he needed work because things were slow. Mr. Rhea came to my house on Sept 14 & Sept 21 tryign to convince me to hire him, i told him i would be leaving town on Sept 27 and i would reach out to him when i returned from traveling to paint my house. On Sept 21 Mr Rhea assured me that he would finish by the time i had to leave on Sept 27. He asked for 1650.00 to get the materials he needed. Mr Steve Rhea said he could not accept an electronic payment because he did not want his x -wife to know how much money he makes. I gave him the check on Sept 21. The check was cashed at Wells Fargo on same day. He left 1 worker at my house for 2 hours on saturday Sept 22, he came back for 20 minutes on Sept 24 and took his ladder. All of my calls since have gone straight to voicemail. if this guy comes around to offer help for hurricane recovery DO NOT hire him. His name is Steve Rhea in Panama City, FL. Mr Rhea told me he is from the Memphis, TN area.
