The site is located in Montreal, Canada- as per its allegations on its web domain- and in spite of that:

-customers are charged in USD, regardless of their location; I am in Canada and yet I was charged in USD

-they claim products to arrive from/ to be delivered from USA based on which information, I paid for expedited shipping fees

-once provided with the tracking information, I figured out that the product was actually arriving from Hong Kong, China

- the product -a hair straightener- arrived wrapped in a plastic bubbly wrap, without its original box (if any existed in the first place) and wrapped in a parcel-like labelled envelope that is in a miserable condition

-the quality of the flat iron was worse than any of the cheapest products purchased anywhere else

-when I requested a return, they asked for pictures, which I did send them, then they provided a return shipping address and asked to provide a tracking number

- they said that they will not pay for return fees- if though that violates their policies- but that they reimburse the total amount I initially paid, and which included the expedited shipping fees; a total of $56.43 USD

- I shipped back the item to the address the provided at Fluffyberry

QC H3T1m7 CANADA -contrary to the address found on the website-they claimed it was their warehouse

- once I shipped the item back, I provided them with a tracking number through Canada post, knowing that I had to pay an amount of $15 for return shipping,

- as I was tracking the updates of item, I was shocked to come across a notification from Canada post stating that the parcel or the straightener that was sent to the address they provided was not delivered to the recipient because the recipient was either located at the address provided or moved to a different location!

And now the item is en route back to the sender- or- myself!

- when I emailed them, they simply said “apologies for the inconvenience. We have informed our warehouse and are waiting to hear their feedback!”.

- by the time they either or not heard back from their warehouse, the item had arrived back to me, but this time in order to pick it up from the post office, I had to make another another payment of $14! Because the recipient has moved and so I was at fault! This whole sad story has cost me $56.43 USD + $30 CAD ( $14 for return +$15.60 fee to re-return item returned to wrong address ($17.06 + $12.48 + $70.62=total of $100.16 CAD)-money that was gone because some people wanted to have some fun at the expense of others…I made numerous requests to them to issue my refund, but they were overly self confident. All I can say is that I hope no one has to experience this negative encounter. Attached are photos of the original item sent and wrapped in bubbly wrap, and parcel photos showing return verification.
