I was told I would meet people from the company in a few weeks. I was told there was a 30 day pre-employment term where I would need to complete training with Mr. Michael Cohen. I would receive 4 assignments/training and then be paid 3,000. The assignments were things I was sent via email and then had to respond by answering test questions. It seemed legit until I started looking on google. I found the training they stated was their training word for word under another company's training site. The biggest red flag was when my final assignment came and they wanted me to use my personal credit card to buy things for the company and be reimbursed through their business account. They sent an entire PDF on how to transfer money. They stated it would be testing my ability to be a purchasing agent. I refused to do this. They said my company card would be coming and I would fill out a 1099 at the end of the 30 days. I said no to using my personal credit card. They agreed and gave me another assignment which was to compare a lease to buy. This was also a copy word for word of an online training. Once I submitted my final project I was supposed to be paid 3,000. I was not paid and when I emailed about the payment, because I already decided I did not want to work for them, there was no reply. After a week of no replies, the emails started bouncing back. Then I went to their website and it was gone. I contacted the domain. I filed a complaint and they replied the site had been banned. The website was uploaded in another European country. This was a scam. They did not get my social security number or real address. They did fail to pay me for work completed and tried to get me to purchase computers, iPhones, and office equipment for their company on my credit card.
