Called locksmith to help open a simple doorknob that has been locked from the inside - no deadbolt. Said he dad to drill and replace it. He told me the cost would be $450 then ended charging $1400. I didn’t receive an itemized receipt and the transaction receipt doesn’t have the company name or correct phone number.

After Googling the number, it came up as an unlicensed locksmith on the Better Business Bureau’s website.

Do not use FM Locksmith. They are not a legit locksmith. While they may get you into your home, they will over charge and not provide receipts. They also have fake reviews on their website and will not comply with requests for more information.
