I went to Focus Urgent Care to get stitches in my leg. I was charged $150 right away. The two females who saw me were grossed out by my injury. They kept trying to convince me to go to the hospital. They made many excuses including saying I needed a special scan I could only do at a hospital. They made me feel they were not qualified and confident enough to do the stitches. I didn’t want someone incompetent to do the procedure , so I went to the hospital. They were scaring me. The doctors at the hospital said the scan that was mentioned was for a concussion, which they did not feel I had based on their questions. The doctors did an x ray and stitched me

Months later I received an extra bill for $66. When I called urgent care , they said the $216 total was for the office visit. When I said they did nothing except put a band aid on me, the girl said it did not matter .

I believe $ 216 for ten minutes and a bandage is too much.

I don’t want anyone else to be ripped off .
