Type of a scam Online Purchase
The merchant name listed on the transaction on my account was listed as Ryan Biggs, but the website address was foisonpay.com, and I came across their ad on Facebook.
Because of the shipping time that I was quoted, 7-10 business days, I waited until April 11th to contact the company. I gave them the order number at that time. They responded on April 15th and said they didn’t have an order for me. I responded with a screen shot of the order that clearly stated that it was “awaiting shipment.” They then responded saying that the information that I provided was incorrect and that the package information couldn’t be found (see attached documentation).
I then contacted PayPal on April 17th, and explained the situation to them and they opened up a dispute. They said that they would issue me a refund on April 27th because I had said I didn’t receive the item. On April 27th PayPal emailed me and said they were closing my dispute because the tracking number that they had said the item was delivered on March 31st. This is incorrect. I didn’t receive the item.
I contacted PayPal on May 2nd, and confirmed to them that I didn’t receive the item and they said that the tracking number they had said the item was indeed delivered. They finally gave me the tracking number and it said the item was shipped through Amazon.
I contacted Amazon and they said the tracking number was a “bluff tracking number” and that I was scammed and I should contact the company, which I had done prior to reaching out to them. As of May 2nd, the company website, foisonpay.com is no longer valid.
I have reached out to USPS to file a complaint, and their response was the package was delivered to a different address.
I just want my $29.98 back. (foisonpay.com is no longer an active website)
