They set up a job posting on LinkedIn. When the posting was answered they sent out a 15 question form to be filled out about the job, all questions you would normally have in the interview process, very detailed. Answered all questions via email, then made job offer and sent an offer letter requesting signature and copy of driver's license. They would then send a check for equipment for remote office setup. After cashing would request money be sent back via paypal to an email address. At least 5 people on LinkedIn were victims. At least 3 separate email addresses were used [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]. The names given were Robert Anderson, Mark Anderson, and Sam Estelle. Of course they have the real Food52 website attached to all their emails.
