Box 1339 CH-6341 Baar/Switzerland She then asked me to enter the interview verification code KHC202 when I connect with Mr. Wesley Poe using Signal Messenger with his Signal Number and then provided the same number she text from. I did not realize that at the time. I messaged him on the app and he responded with the following: I'm Mr.Wesley Poe, 44 years, One of the Hiring managers of Forbo Holding. Also I'm part of the Human Resources team of Forbo Holding. He asked how I would like to be addressed and I answered. He went on to say " Our responsibility as a company. You will be enlisted for 1 week's training programme. Find the Training programme details below: *You will have to be online from 9 am to 12 pm daily for training programmes as you will be given a series of tasks during training. *You will resume work fully after training and your working hours will be 8 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday in your time zone. *You can also work part-time. We offer a part-time position and your working hours will be 8 am - 12 pm or 1 pm - 5 pm Monday - Friday in your time zone. *Whether or not you have an assignment or task to carry out you will be paid $36/hr and for 8hrs a day as long as you are online during the stated hours. *You have to keep a strict record of time and activities. A timesheet should be sent in every Friday for monitoring (In your format). *In carrying out any assignment or task a progress report has to be emailed every Friday to me. * You will be paid weekly. *The training would be administered online, this is an Internet-based position, and the base pay is $21 per hour During training and $36 per hour after training. * Training will be conducted via Zoom Conference call & also through the Company's database which you'll have access to your login.

Just to inform you that the company will be providing you with all mini office equipment needed to begin work, training, and orientation with your supervisor, all equipment will be signed and customized with the company's name and logo that would be used for the data compliment by the company certified local vendor...Note: A Check will be issued and mailed out to you for the purchase of the software materials you will be needing and the following office equipment are: * Hp laptop with a fast internet connection, 120 Gigg HDD, 2G Internal Memory. * All in One Printer, Scanner, Fax, and Photocopier Machine. * BS 1 Accounting software * Microsoft Office and Microsoft Operating Systems ( Service Packs 2 ) * Mini-Office Stationary, and a time tracker software to enable you to calculate the amount of time you have worked per day... Welcome to Forbo Holding , Looking forward to working with you and hope you would be a productive source to the company, I believe that will be all for today, you are to report back online at 8: 00 AM your time Tomorrow morning for updates on your Start-up Check ...Bye and have a blessed day! God bless!" When I checked in the following morning I was told "Hello, Your start up Check has been scheduled for tomorrow’s delivery or next through FedEx or UPS mail courier. And I’ll be here to provide you with the tracking# before the end of today or tomorrow morning. Understood?
I was then asked to confirm the personal details I provided (name, address, cell, and email) which I did. I was then advised I would be emailed my W4 form and 1-9 government forms and I would be scheduled for an orientation Zoom video call next week. I was also advised I would be receiving the HR employment offer via email and to check back in at 8am the next morning for check and tracking number update information. Yesterday, 7/26/23 I was advised the check was scheduled for delivery on 7/27/23 and a tracking number would be provided by the end of the day or this morning. This morning 7/27/23, I received the tracking number for a UPS delivery and stating the following. "Good morning I am pleased to inform you that funds for the job you have done and to purchase your working materials/Installation materials and software to enable you to work effectively from home were released Yesterday and you should have them today. You can check the status of the envelope on www.ups.com with the tracking number: 1ZXXXXXXXXXXXX As soon as you receive the Check, Proceed to your bank and deposit the check, and the funds will be made available after 24 hours of deposit. You are to get back to me online after the check has been deposited. Keep me posted and confirm the receipt of this email immediately, very important." Later the checks arrived and I advised as requested I had also received the email, signed and returned it to the email it was sent from, MaryAnn Godin <[email protected]>. I asked why 2 checks and the response was : "I believe you have a Check of $4,900 & $3,850? The Check is for the purchase of your office equipment to setup a mini office at home & start training ASAP. Here is what you should do, Proceed to Your Bank & have the Check Deposited via your Bank Teller. Once deposited, funds would be made available for withdrawal the next day ( within 24 hours or less ). Email me with a vivid scanned copy or photo shot of the deposit receipt for record purposes and documentation . For personal security purposes, you can erase your account information if there are any written on the receipt. Okay?" I told them the bank was putting a 7 day hold on the funds as a security precaution and they replied to notify when deposit was complete. I made the deposit into an account I am soon to be closing that only has a min amount in it currently as a precaution. The bank had advised me that if the checks were counterfeit, they would close my account, which I am planning to do anyway. I had also noted the return address on the envelope the checks were sent from said "Quick Print 3184437266 1125 Texas Ave Alexandria, La. 71301" but the checks were from Bank Midwest. I then sent a picture of the deposit receipt as requested marking out all account information. I was then asked to report when I got back home. I was then asked to stand by for further instruction. While waiting, I printed screen shots of the entire conversation in the Signal app as well as the email and attachment. I then received the following message: "Okay, You’re required to make part purchase of your working materials, So you can start training asap! Note: You’ll be reimbursed back once the Check clears. Your training supervisor will have your reimbursement form & direct deposit document sent to your e-mail." I asked how much and told them I was on a very limited income at the present time the response was: "I sincerely understand you, We’re only trying to make sure you get the necessary working software & start training asap, due to the long hold placed on the Check. It will cost you a total of $500. Note : You’ll be reimbursed back." I then said I did not have that much money. The next message stated "How much can you come up with right now, So the Vendor can start working on your materials?" and I replied none. While waiting for their reply, I did more digging into the bank and noted the routing number was for Bank Midwest in Iowa, Minnesota, and S Dakota, but the logo is for Bank Midwest in Kansas that has a different routing number and seems to be a different bank completely with locations in Missouri, Kansas, Texas, Colorado, Utah and New Mexico. I know the checks are going to be fraudulent and the account will close, which is fine. It is just sad that people do things like this, getting information from what use to be reputable sites to assist with employment, getting peoples hopes up for a job when a good paying job is desperately needed. I have yet to receive another reply, but I am willing to bet if I do it will say something along the lines of unable to employ.</[email protected]>
