I was offered a free trial product by Elysiahskinremedy.com. It appears they are owned by or affiliated with Forest Lee Corp. I believe I found their skin care product through an online ad. I filled out the free trial request for just the cost of shipping. What was not made clear in the section of the website form I saw and filled out was that the company would use my credit card account information to continually and forever ship new product to me each month at a cost of $*** plus shipping. In addition, it appears since I ordered 2 sample products that they will be automatically billing me each month in excess of $***. I called the company, told them I do not want their product (they had billed my credit card for the first NOT SO FREE product), and asked them to credit back my credit card account for the cost of the first monthly charge. The "customer support representative" was very rude and obnoxious, and basically said too bad, you should have read everything concerning the free trial sample terms and conditions. I again repeated, multiple times, that we do not want the product and to credit my credit card account - he refused and made it clear that if I failed to let the credit card charge go through, his company was the victim here, not me. He also noted we had failed to make the call to cancel within 14 days of the trial sample order (today is day 15 as it turns out).

We have in the meantime cancelled our credit card and are having a new credit card sent to us. Our credit card company, Chase Bank, told us that sometimes a company like this one, once a charge has been contested and their company identified as a non-valid charge source, will often submit future bills under a different company name. Thus the need to change our account number. We are also formally contesting the $*** charge with the credit card company.
