I received a check for 4250 which I was supposed to deposit into my account and then keep $200 for a sign on bonus and then use the rest to purchase equipment where they wanted me to with the rest. I took the check to my bank, and they couldn't verify it as real, so I took the cashier's check to the bank it was written on, and the bank told me it was fake. Luckily my gut instincts were warning me ahead of time before I signed and cashed this check.
