Paid $650 for a dachshund from Facebook page Dachshund for rescue/adoption/rehoming, Breeder, Christina Anna Elvin (not a real person). Christina arranged for "delivery" of the puppy but didn't tell me about the additional costs of this delivery. The delivery company, Forward Reed, contacted me needing $500 for a warming Crate, then needed $750 for Insurance, needed another $150 for Nanny fee, then needed $500 for the cost of 10 days of boarding. Yesterday I told them to cancel all of these transactions, I was out of money and backed out of buying the dachshund. They refuse to answer my calls or emails.
