01/15/2025 Voicemail from Clark with Goldman & Associates; also answers as Goldstone Legal Solutions. Called from 949-201-1352. Voicemail request for call back at 855-325-3301. Case #25-084980 with Capital One.
03/25/2025 called my husband while he was at work. Caller from Porterville, CA number: 559-202-2975 with Weissman & Associates. I called the number back, and he was super defensive and very unprofessional.
07/22/2025 Voicemail from Caleb from Foster & Lewis, 866-804-3320. He is allegedly "with a processing and distress center reaching out to serve legal documents, and to contact their legal firm back, OR it may result in further legal proceedings to take place without my knowledge or consent."
07/24/2025 Voicemail to my husband. Call from Parlier, CA number: 559-254-6442. Michael Lawson with Stratton & Associates. Voicemail request for call back at 855-730-5797. Also answers as Stratton Legal. Case #25-030786 with Capital One.
Exact voicemail from Michael Lawson at Stratton & Associates:
“This call is for (name redacted) … this is Michael Lawson at the attorney's office here at Stratton & Associates. We are trying to get legal documents out to your home and place of business. These documents will be submitted out tomorrow morning between 9 and 4pm. Your case number here is 25-030786. You can reach our law firm here at 855-730-5797 ext. 565. This is regarding your property at (address redacted). This is also regarding your wife (name redacted). Please return this call as soon as possible. This will be the final attempt to get documents out to your home and place of business.”
They were wanting me and my husband to pay them an “alleged” debt for $8982 that was “supposedly” incurred in 2005. Besides, I have access to check our credit report and court documents. They won’t provide a legitimate registered business phone number that is verifiable with a secure website, AND a State License for acting as a legal collection agency. By law, they are required to be licensed under the Debt Collection Licensing Act (DCLA); and/or Debt collectors must obtain a license from the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI).
These people are obviously scammers.
