Attempted to pay a parking meter in Providence, Rhode Island and there was an app to download. There was small print that after 5 days monthly I would be charged $49.95 monthly for their services. The app was very misleading and didnt help me pay the meter. I was charged small amounts several times.

I bought a pair if wireless earbuds that contained an insert with a QR code to scan to activate a warranty on the product. It directs you to a page to enter your information. It asks for a credit card so that you can continue the warranty after the trial period. Once I entered my information I received an email thanking me for signing up for their streaming service. I would be charged $49.99 per month for unlimited access to games, movies, music etc. Clearly this has nothing to do with a product warranty. I replied to the "welcome" email to immediatly cancel this scam service. I also called my credit card company to cancel my card and I have a fraud watch on my credit report now.

I was looking for a screen mirror app when this service, Fraavy pops up. Initially I dismissed it but then gave in. Was immediately contacted by my bank about a fraudulent charge. I took it as a text from a company called LOUDGAMIN.NET which must be a connection to Fraavy. Please stop these people from scamming people out of their money.

I typed in the website of a parking lot payment website that I needed to use to pay to park my car. Unbeknownst to me fraavy.com intercepted my request, took my email and the password i created and created an account to a subscription service which I was not able to cancel.

The company offers a "free trial" for 5 days before charging outrageously expensive prices, 50 per month, for entertainment services... all while making it near impossible to cancel.

There is no form to cancel on the site, and only a phone and email, which they will not answer or respond to.

Signing up for NFL+ and FRAAVY..COM sent me a email stating that I had been placed in a free trial subscription. They intruded into my siging up for NFL+.

My experience was similar to the earlier poster, except I was doing age verification for Roblox. They said verification was done through a third party, so I wasn't surprised when it was another company. But once I put in the information it didn't verify my age, it signed me up for an entertainment service I didn't want, which was supposedly free for 5 days and would charge my card an unknown amount after that if I didn't cancel. I tried to cancel by phone and online but neither worked, so I contacted my bank to replace my card, and saw they had already charged me $1. Who knows how much I would be charged if I didn't cancel the card.

Started with a $1.00 charge for a free 5-day trial. An additional charge of $1.95 appeared on my credit card. Attempted to cancel the account to avoid a $49.95 monthly subscription charge. Online research indicated this was a scam and impossible to cancel. I contacted my credit card company to block charges appearing on my credit card under the name of ETERCAV.XYZ.

Was attempting debit card payment on legitimate site when this site intruded and captured all payment info. Then said I'd signed up for game site at $49.99/mo. Fraud alert on my card stopped their first $1 try to check card.

I was watching QVC on Roku TV and a QR code came up on the screen to create an account. I scanned it and entered the info it asked for as well as my credit card number. When I clicked continue the next screen a website called fraavy.com popped up. I called my credit card and let them know and canceled the card. When I checked the account there was a charge for $1 but it was from a different website (crepgrlt.me) which I found strange. I found a number for fraavy support and when I called the recording said I reached crepgrlt. If I wouldn't have canceled my card they would have charged me $49.95 for a streaming service.

I was scammed to subscribe to the streaming service Fraavy site on 07/27/2023. I tried to use the passport parking app at the University of Florida's parking garage and somehow I was rerouted to this site. I gave my credit card information as it made me think I was paying for my parking but the logo, "Fraavy" appeared afterwards. I called the number on their site, as that is what they require for cancellation, the very same day (07/27/2023). The individual I spoke to, who is of Filipino origin, re-assurred me that would receive a confirmation email of the cancellation but instead I received a confirmation of subscription approximately 30 minutes after my conversation with the help support person. The email was filtered into my spam folder, which is also a flag to me that this company is a scam somehow rerouting people to their site. I have additional images showing the entire email for which I have attached. It goes on to mention the amount which will charged if the subscription is not cancelled within the 5 day free trial period.

I was attempting to pay a traffic citation as directed by correspondence received from the DMV and the website directed me to this fraudulent “Fraavy” site. I was suspicious from the beginning but I couldn’t find a different place to click on the court website to continue. I reluctantly added my information to get in and pay and it charged my account $1 immediately. That’s when I saw the site I was now in was not what it pretended to be. I called their customer service number and the minute the representative asked me for the 1st 6 numbers and last 4 numbers of my card I knew they were scammers! I refused to give that information and told them there shouldn’t be any problem canceling an account with the information I provided, said it multiple times, and he ended up telling me I would have to call my card services….and hung up on me! Any legitimate company would never hang up on a customer. I followed through with Wells Fargo, had to get the card voided and replaced, and asked them to block that company from trying to ever charge anything to me again.

I tried to use a QR code to rent a scooter in Seattle, WA. The QR code directed me to another site. I entered my info because I thought it was required to rent the scooter, but I realized that I was signing up for a service called "Fraavy," which is some sort of subscription service. I did not realize that was what I was signing up for and never wanted it. However, I was billed $49.95. The billing was listed as plce.com.
