I was on the next-door app seeing if anyone either had a washer for sale or knew of a repair person. This man Frank Eaton responded with reviews of people praising his work and sent his number. I called him and he said he could come look at the washer and possibility fix it. 65 for him to come out and check then whatever he found added. He said he could fix it and that he had to get the parts to fix it. The price was 200 dollars and he would be back the next day to fix it. I sent him 200 dollars on cash app and then next day heard nothing, so i contacted him and he said that the parts didn't come in yet and that they would be in by the day after Thanksgiving. Friday came hard nothing. We went back and forth like this for a week, finally he tells me he has the parts and that he would come next day. Never did, stopped answering his phone for two days. He texts me on the next door app and claims he was in the hospital and i told him i wanted my money back at this point. He said he was gonna get it to me that day, i told him to send it through cash app and he told me he had to download the app. That was 3 days ago and everytime I've tried to contact him he doesn't respond. He did this to another lady on the next-door app two weeks prior, she contacted me after i posted what happened to me in the app. Also i did ask for a receipt and he emailed me some proof of what he was supposed to do for me.
