Received an email through a coworker, and I mistakenly assumed a personal connection to the person who shared the email with me thinkin that I might be interested in the piano. Person ID'd themselves as one Gina Fogle, whose husband was recently deceased. She was in the process of moving out of the country, and the piano was in storage with the listed company in Little Rock, AK. It surprised me that they were located in a different state than me given the (mistakenly) assumed connection between Ms. Fogle and my coworker. On a follow up, Ms. Fogle provided details concerning the age and condition of the instrument and furnished me with a reference number for the company to coordinate shipment. When I reached out to the company, they provided a tiered-timeframe shipping quote and requested payment via Bank Transfer or Zelle. This caused me to become suspicious, and I looked up the company through BBB, which confirmed my suspicions. I immediately reached out to the company to sever contact and inform them I was terminating my interest.

This person emailed my nonprofit organization and offered to donate a piano to our company. i entered myself into the raffle and won. I emailed her with the email provided letting her know that I had won. She told me it was her late husband's piano and she really wanted it to go to a music lover. She didn't want any money for it as her husband would be devastated if she sold it but she was moving to France and it needed to be gone out of her storage unit. Her movers were very reasonable and that I could schedule with them. She gave me a reference code for when I emailed the movers. She was very on me about emailing the movers even giving me deadlines and asking for pictures and videos once I got it in my house. I emailed them over the weekend and when I received no response I looked up the moving company at work. This is when I found out this was a scam. This was the most elaborate scam I have ever seen. It was typed out completely and correctly, it was a very detailed story, and she was consistent on being in contact.

A lady claiming that she is moving to France next two week, and want to give away the Yamaha Baby Grand Piano GC1 Model for free, but you have to pay for the shipping company, the company has a website but never answered the call

Offered to ship a free Yamaha GC-1 piano to the victim and setup for a shipping fee.

Supposedly the fictitious giver was moving to France after her late husband died. He would have wanted her to give the piano away rather than sell it.

She suggested getting in touch with her mover to help get the piano to us. She also asked pictures be taken of the piano when it arrives.

The mover requested money via Zelle or Bank transfer up front for the delivery of the piano. She provided a website and email for the company.

After checking the company website I noticed the main number does not work and no one answered the local number. The domain registrar info is private. There is no mention of them on the Better Business Bureau or the AR Secretary of State.
