I went to the free covid testing site (Free rapid and PCR testing at 834 S Northwest highway Barrington) 12/23/2021. Waited in line for two hours and was given a rapid and PCR test. The rapid test was done in about 60 seconds and was negative. This is very fast so it seemed strange to me. I never received my PCR results. I in fact did have covid even though rapid was negative and never received PCR.

The testing site had only 1 person working with no PPE except for a mask. It was in an empty store front. They asked for personal identifying information such as my driver license number.

I called the village of Barrington and they said they shut down a covid testing site in December that was just a few store fronts down from this one because they did not have proper zoning (660 S northwest highway barrington).

I saw an ABC chicago article this morning indicating that there are some scam testing sites. This looks like one of them.
