2 men came to my door yesterday 8/28 around 4:30pm. They said they were with Freedom Communications. They wanted to know if I had Direct TV or Dish Network. I told them I have Direct TV. They told me they work for Direct TV as a subcontractor. They wanted to get me to upgrade my system, they said it would be at no cost to me. Right then I knew that was a lie. They wanted to come into my home and look at my receiver and DVR. I told them no. They kept trying to get me to get the numbers on the receiver and DVR so they could look at them on their system. Again I told them no. They kept pressing me to let them in so they could look at the receiver. Finally I closed the door on them. They kept talking and then they finally walked away. I am a senior citizen and I know they were going door to door in my neighborhood. They do not work for Direct TV they work for Dish Network and have been changing peoples Direct TV with out their knowledge. These people need to stop preying on senior citizens.
