Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
When PrivCo fake job recruited me and emailed me a check to cash, the check was from ‘Freeline Heating and Plumbing’ signed by ‘Che Gomez’.
I figured out this was a check scam and immediately stopped the communication with them.
Then I called the Freeline Plumbing company the next morning and told a guy who picked up the phone about the check scam.
When I told him I received a check made by his company, he said his company system was ‘hacked in yesterday and wrote a check’.
And he asked who I am, so I hung up.
This Freeline Plumbing company is definitely involved in the PrivCo Check scam.
